The problem we solve

insight, before it’s too late

Most insight arrives too late, too polished, or too far from the decision.

  • Researchbecomes a presentation.
  • Mediabecomes a buying exercise.
  • Communicationgets translated, rather than understood.
  • The business solutiongets lost somewhere between the agency box and the client brief.
The AdStreets answer

We put the people who make, buy and consume media directly against live business problems — and turn what they tell us into the business solution, and the media production to ship it. Not a deck that dies in a drawer. A room that answers back — and a bench that builds it.

What we do

five ways in, one way of working

Once we understand the problem, we build the solution around it — with diligence running through every link in the chain:

  1. 1Decode the market & consumer
  2. 2Plan the communication
  3. 3Find the audience
  4. 4Execute with discipline
  5. 5Measure the ROI

Depending on the problem, we bring the right capabilities together — rather than forcing it into an existing box.

The mix

  • Regional & cultural decoding

Culture, consumer behaviour and market realities understood before the solution is decided — not a national campaign simply translated.

  • CTV

Television’s impact with digital addressability, audience intelligence and measurement. Not another inventory bucket — a new way to plan across screens.

  • Performance & accountability

Audience intelligence, sharper targeting, and the discipline of making every rupee work harder.

  • AI & post-production technology

AI-assisted edit, motion, sound and finishing — post-production firepower that turns insight into content while it’s still fresh. New-gen tools, old-school craft.

  • Content, media & partnerships

Built around the insight, not the other way round.

Where AdStreets began — and still a core strength. For TV and digital news networks, four honest mirrors held up to your offering, your campaigns and your audience.

What it covers

  • Industry feedback panels that align your offering with what advertisers and agencies want.
  • Campaign performance analysis — from concept to execution.
  • Market positioning insights — panel feedback combined with competitive analysis.
  • Content & viewer engagement — audience sentiment and preference tracking.

A standing, pan-India panel of the people who shape media decisions — senior professionals from agencies and clients, across linear TV and the digital ecosystem, from every geography in India. Built on our roots in TV and digital news, and now open to every category.

Use it to

  • Test a positioning, a rate card or a new property before it goes to market.
  • Understand how buyers really perceive your channel, platform or brand.
  • Read planning intent for the coming quarter or year.
  • Benchmark against competition — through the eyes of the people who choose between you.

India’s next consumers don’t fill forms. They talk, argue, meme and change their minds — so the panel is dynamic and conversational: real young consumers, put against real business problems, in live discussion.

What you get is not a research deck. It’s insight plus actionables: what to say, where to say it, what to drop, and what will make them share.

Use it for

  • Product and campaign ideas — before production.
  • Content, formats and creators that will actually land.
  • Brand perception, relevance and honest cringe checks.
  • Category entry, pricing and naming.

For founders and leadership teams who want a senior mind in the room — not another salesperson on the payroll. Most growing media, marketing and adtech companies reach the same point: the product is proven, the market is bigger, and the decisions get harder. Which market next, which partner, what story, what price, which people.

The Sutradhar Seat offers thirty years of judgment — without adding a sales target to anyone’s name. Non-executive, personal, strategic. You run the company. The Sutradhar helps you run it into the right markets, the right way.

How the seat works

Monthly working session→ Quarterly guidance review→ 90-day mutual check-in
  • Small on purpose. A limited number of companies at a time — no overlap, no committee, real attention each.
  • Success as guidance, never a quota. Quarterly, we look at the doors opened, the decisions counsel changed, and how much sharper the team has become.
  • Easy in, clean out. Either side can step away with 30 days’ notice — no cause needed.
  • Spirit first. We agree the why and the what first; the how and the numbers follow as an annex.

What the Sutradhar brings

  • Counsel on the big calls — market entry, positioning, go-to-market, pricing, packaging, partnerships. The decisions expensive to get wrong and slow to reverse.
  • Prepared time — every session comes with an agenda, data and a decision in front of it. No hours spent on updates.
  • Introductions at the moments that count — the CXOs, agency principals and platform partners who move a market. The list is built and prioritised together.
  • A seat beside you in the conversations that shape the next chapter — the first anchor client, the first partner, the first forum where you are heard.
  • The media lens — how agencies, broadcasters, platforms and advertisers will actually read your proposition, from someone who has sat in all their chairs.
  • Mentoring the next line — so the judgment compounds in your team, not only in the founder.
  • A candid sounding board — the person who tells you what the market won’t.

What you can count on

  • Counsel taken seriously. Where we differ, we argue it openly — the call is yours, and so is the outcome.
  • No quotas, no targets, no operational load. No reports, no admin, no title politics. The contribution is judgment; converting it into results is the company’s.
  • Full transparency, both ways. You see the good and the bad at the same depth.
  • Discretion. The association is announced together, only when we both feel it is right.

Why us

seven reasons, one thread

Judgment you can act on.

Not a vendor, not another label. Thirty years at the core, a collective on call — on your side of the table.

  1. 01

Planning & buying at the core

Three decades of putting money behind linear and digital media — and being accountable for it.

  2. 02

    Three decades of perspective

A founder who watched the business move from creative to digital to performance to content to AI — and believes the answer was never another label.

  3. 03

Real people, both sides of the market

Trade panels across linear and digital, agencies and clients, all of India — plus a live Gen Z panel. Supply, demand and the consumer, in one room.

  4. 04

    Actionables, not appendices

Every engagement ends with what to do next.

  5. 05

    No box to fit into

Panels, decoding, CTV, performance, AI-enabled production, content or media — brought together around the problem, not forced into an existing one.

  6. 06

    South, East and West decoding

Transcreate, not translate — for brands in the north taking on southern, eastern and western markets, with the culture decoded before the campaign is planned, not after it lands wrong. South Decoding, launched by Tarun himself, leads the way.

  7. 07

    Diligence throughout

From the first question to the last rupee.

Tarun Nigam — Sutradhar, AdStreetCollabs TN*

Sutradhar

Tarun Nigam

Three decades in media planning, buying and brand solutions.

From sales and acquisition at UTV — a renowned production house pioneering dubbing of content for Discovery Channel — to launching India’s first daily soap, Shanti, and then on to HTA/JWT (now VML), where he got the grounding in total branding cycle philosophy. This makes him stand out in the current ecosystem.

Transitioning from here to become the founding partner for media independent outfits of WPP, then Mindshare — having the rare experimental of working with professionals from three top agencies of WPP: Ogilvy, JWT and Contract. Leading to evangelisation of educational institutions and SME clients of UP and Bihar, and then moving on to content solutions to help set up a digital agency by the name of STCH, and then moving on to marketing and strategy consultancy for India Today Group.

Along the way, business led for Hero Honda, Samsung, MakeMyTrip, Gillette, American Express and more. The firsts and the big swings sit just below.

Today he runs AdStreetCollabs, leads South Decoding and holds a few Sutradhar seats — the man who brought performance marketing into the linear world — each seat run to a working charter: prepared time, counsel on the big calls, introductions at the moments that count, and mentoring the next line. No sales targets, no operational load, ever.

The bench — on call, not on payroll

AdStreetCollabs is not a one-man band. It’s a marketing collective: senior specialists from networks, agencies and production houses, working under Tarun’s direction — assembled for the project, disbanded when it’s done. No benchwarmers, no overheads passed on to you. The right minds for the problem, every single time.

  • Media planning & buying

Linear, digital and CTV hands that have spent decades of clients’ money — and answered for every rupee.

  • Content & post-production tech

Edit, motion, sound and AI-assisted workflows that turn insight into content while it’s still fresh.

  • Regional decoding — South, East & West

Specialists who transcreate, never just translate.

  • Performance & martech

Audience intelligence, sharper targeting, and measurement that holds up.

  • Strategy & research

Brand, comms and market decoding — and the moderators who run the panels.

  • Gen Z & creator ops

Formats, creators and community fluency — straight from the source.
